When you look into a mirror what do you see?  What is the purpose of a mirror?
Well a mirror helps us see ourselves so we know how we look.  God's Word is kind of like that.  We see ourselves compared to His guidelines and desires for behavior-it has no distortions and is designed to only encourage us to have a life full of peace, hope, and fullness if we follow those instructions.  James talks about that in today's message- be encouraged!

Today, we are looking at how to handle the troubles in life.  AS WE ALL KNOW, life is full of struggles- one after the other.  We all want a 'beer commercial' life where everything is hunky dory all the time.  But that is not reality.  Be encouraged by God's Word and what He has to say about struggles being good for you.

God desires HONESTY over sacrifice- importance of honesty in relationships.

When was the last time you had a really heart felt, open and honest talk with someone?  That is God's desire with you- HE wants your honesty.  Honesty with yourself and with HIM.  Be encouraged as we look at some really honest discussions people have with God in the Bible.  God's desire is for honesty over 'sacrifice'.  Learn more on today's episode!
